It’s never too early to look ahead to the draft so let’s take a sneak peek at the Green Bay Packers and five potential candidates for the 2019 NFL Draft.

The Green Bay Packers certainly have the draft capital to improve their team heading into next season. Green Bay already has 10 picks in the draft, including six selections within the first four rounds. That should give general manager Brian Gutekunst the ammo he needs to reload the Packers on the fly.

The best part about the draft picks is that Green Bay will have two in the first round. The Packers swung a trade with the New Orleans Saints in last year’s draft in order to acquire their 2019 first round pick. Even though it’s looking like that selection will be at the very end of the round, it was still a good deal for Green Bay.

However, this article previews five players that Green Bay could select with their own first round pick which figures to be closer to the late teens or early 20s at worst.

The Packers have a number of positions they need to address as the second half of the NFL season wraps up. At or near the top of the list includes, but isn’t limited to outside linebacker, safety and both lines. Without further ado, let’s take a look at five potential candidates the Packers could draft to address their needs.
