4. Dallas Keuchel

The Brewers will likely be in the market for a starting pitcher and general manager David Stearns has a lot of familiarity with former Houston Astros’ starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel. Unfortunately, Keuchel’s recent sustained success priced him out of the Brewers’ range.

Keuchel, who has spent his entire career with the Astros, won the 2015 AL Cy Young Award, but has been decently solid ever since. Even though he’s not the stud he was that season, that award will still drive up his price.

At 31-years-old, he is also looking for one last big contract and it would be a stretch to give him four years at this point. However, he has one of the highest ground-ball rates in all of baseball which would make him a valuable asset at Miller Park. Expect him to get something that averages out close to $20 million a season.
