Milwaukee Brewers: 6 completely realistic free agent targets

4. Brad Brach

If the Brewers want to re-stock their bullpen for 2019, Brach might be their guy. At 32-years-old, his best baseball is behind him, but he proved he still has a lot left in the tank. The 2016 All-Star posted a 3.59 ERA last year for the Baltimore Orioles and Atlanta Braves.

As a right-handed pitcher, he could provide some insurance in case the Brewers decide to move one of their bullpen arms into the starting rotation next season. Even though the Brewers’ bullpen is a strength, it’s the type of move that could make them even stronger.

Brach made about $5.2 million last season and should be in line for around the same amount on his next contract. Given his age, the Brewers would likely only want to sign him for a couple of years at most. Milwaukee could entice him for two years at around $6 million.
