1. Jaire Alexander & Kevin King vs Julian Edelman & Josh Gordon

Rookie cornerback Jaire Alexander has been one of the NFL’s best cornerbacks this season. Last week against the Rams, he followed former Patriots wide receiver Brandin Cooks all over the field and made every catch a battle. He and Kevin King are a rising duo on the outside to finally give the Packers a cornerback duo that quarterbacks can’t pick apart down the field. They still have room to grow, but this week will be a great matchup for both groups.

Depending on where you look, Alexander matches up with a couple different Patriots receiver, but it’s more than likely we see him on Julian Edelman in the slot. He can play on the outside, but he plays well in the slot. He’s a perfect example of the Packers taking a player and putting him in the best position to succeed and help the team.

King is the team’s best combination of size and skills. This makes him the perfect match for the ever-talented Josh Gordon. Gordon has continued to play more and more with the Patriots, and it seems that a breakout from him is always just around the corner. The Packers are already dealing with Gronk, so they can’t allow Gordon to also go big. King can make a big statement this game, but he has to play like the best version of himself.
