The Green Bay Packers completed a come from behind victory as the game expired in order to overtake the San Francisco 49ers at Lambeau Field.

The Green Bay Packers looked to be on the verge of yet another disappointing loss early in the season. After getting beat by the Detroit Lions last week, the Packers could ill-afford another let down at home against the San Francisco 49ers.

Fortunately, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers snapped out of their funk for just long enough to make a nice comeback and secure a victory heading into their Week 7 bye. Here are all the highlights from Monday night’s come from behind victory for Green Bay.

After San Francisco scored on their opening drive, the Packers marched right down the field and put the ball in the end zone to tie it up. Head coach Mike McCarthy showed a lot of creativity including this touchdown “run” by Ty Montgomery.

Rodgers found a number of receivers for big gains throughout the game. This time it was Jimmy Graham for 54 yards off the catch and run.

Later on that same drive, Rodgers found his favorite target Davante Adams across the middle for the touchdown. Even though the throw was a bit behind Adams, he was able to secure it for six points and give the Packers a double-digit lead.

The 49ers dominated most of the rest of the game up until this point. The defense was unable to stop them on the ground or through the air. At the same time, the Packers’ offense sputtered which contributed to them being down 30-23 with three minutes to play in the fourth quarter. Fortunately, the team woke up, beginning with this dime to Adams.

A couple plays later, Rodgers found Adams again. This time for another touchdown and it tied the game at 30 following a Mason Crosby extra point.

After a nice kickoff return and a late hit penalty by the Packers, the 49ers were blessed with great field position. Fortunately, defensive coordinator Mike Pettine drew up the perfect blitz and the Packers were able to come away with the interception.

Following a drive that started on their own 10-yard line, the Packers were able to get the ball upfield quickly. Following an awful game at Detroit, Crosby capped off his four field goal night with this game-winner as time expired.

The Packers have a bye in Week 7 before starting a gauntlet stretch of games. The Packers will certainly use this bye to get healthy and make a couple of adjustments. Even though it’s been a disappointing start for Green Bay, at the end of the day they are 3-2-1 and right there in the NFC North race.
