Starters

The starting five is going to be very good for the Bucks this season. There’s no question the Bucks will trot out the five best players on their team with this unit. Here’s a quick preview:

Bledsoe: Bledsoe enters the final year of his contract and might be moving on after this season. However, he’ll still get every opportunity to showcase his skills. He’s clearly third in the pecking order and will get to lead the team when Antetokounmpo and Middleton are on the bench.

Brogdon: Many analysts believed Brogdon would begin games on the bench and be one of the leaders of that unit. However, it appears he’s going to be starting alongside Bledsoe. This could cause some issues with the rotation and force Budenholzer to play Dellavedova more than most people would like. However, it does ensure the Bucks’ best five are on the court to begin games.

Middleton: Middleton is on the verge of a breakout season and could very well earn himself his first All-Star appearance in 2019. In many ways, the Bucks’ team success is directly tied to how well Middleton plays.

Antetokounmpo: Antetokounmpo is the rock and superstar of the Bucks and keeps getting better each season. What’s new this year? Well, it appears he’s added a pull-up three-pointer to his arsenal. If he can keep that up, the NBA will have no idea how to defend him.

Lopez: Lopez was another free agent addition for the Bucks this season. He provides them with a center who can stretch the floor and a big body to bang with the stronger centers in the league.
