Highlights

The first half was extremely slow for the Packers. The defense got a stop right away, but turned it over on the punt. The Lions quickly capitilized with this touchdown by Blount:

Golladay had himself a day, including going up and over Josh Jackson for this catch.

Blount capped off that drive and took advantage of Golladay’s catch by punching this run in for the second td of the game.

Rodgers was uncharacteristically loose with the ball. The Lions took advantage of that on this strip-sack:

Once again, the Lions forced a Rodgers’ fumble and recovered. This was a tough pill to swallow as Green Bay was looking to get some points on the board going into the half. The Lions scored on both turnovers after the Packers’ defense was put in a tough position.

This was the result of Rodgers’ second fumble. The Packers were so close to forcing another field goal and keeping the team somewhat in the game going into the half. Unfortunatley, Marvin Jones Jr (the known Packer-killer) got his team into the endzone for the third time in the half.

Green Bay finally got things going on their first possession of the second half. Rodgers found Valdes-Scantling for his first career touchdown in the third quarter.

The Packers went for and converted the two-point conversion to make it a two-score game.

The Packers’ comeback attempt continued on their next drive. Rodgers found Lance Kendricks in the endzone to make the score 14-24. They failed on the ensuing two-point conversion.

Unfortunately, the Lions responded with a nice drive and put some more points on the board, all but thwarting the comeback attempt.

Even though they were down by three scores in the fourth, the Packers didn’t stop. Rodgers found Adams for another touchdown here. Crosby, consistent with the day, missed the extra point and the Packers were down 20-31. They only added another field goal with a few seconds remaining and the final score was 23-31.
