Randall Cobb has already been ruled out for the game and Davante Adams and Geronimo Allison have yet to practice this week. There’s hope Adams can practice on Saturday and the coaching staff has a positive outlook for Allison as well.

Hopefully, the Packers can get at least one of those players healthy enough to play (obviously Adams is the first choice), but regardless, Marquez Valdes-Scantling will have a big role in the offense.

He played a lot last week as well, but had very mixed results. Rodgers went to him on a critical fourth-and-three and the pass was almost intercepted. Rodgers was visibly upset with Valdez-Scantling after the play for not driving back to the football. Later, the MVP quarterback said it’s a play him and Jordy Nelson used to make in their sleep.

However, Valdez-Scantling redeemed himself by running right past the corner for a long completion later in the game. That speed is a big reason why the Packers drafted him. The rookie receiver will have to show a lot more of that on Sunday in order to help the Packers minimize the loss of their other wide receivers.
