4. Aaron Jones

The Lions have the worst run defense, and I mean THE worst run defense, in the entire NFL. Lucky for the Packers they have a trio of backs in Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams and Ty Montgomery who can exploit that matchup to their advantage.

However, Jones is the one who holds the key.

Jones returned from a two game suspension in Week 3 and has clearly been the better runner. He’s shown great elusiveness, balance and a willingness to fight through every tackle. It’s been a refreshing sight and a player fans have been calling for to receive more touches.

Despite the demand for an increase in playing time, Mike McCarthy and his coaching staff have eased Jones into his workload so far this season. Hopefully, that will change on Sunday. With an ailing Rodgers and receiving core, the Packers should lean on the run to carry them to victory. Jones is the man to do that and should get 20 carries in this game. Let’s see how he’s utilized against a team that loves to give up big runs.
