These five Green Bay Packers will have a lot riding on their shoulders in order to carry their team to victory on Sunday against the Detroit Lions.

The Green Bay Packers will go for their second straight victory when they square up against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. For just the second time this season, the Packers will be on the road against their division rival.

The Packers enter the contest in second place in the NFC North at 2-1-1 with the Lions coming in at the bottom at 1-3. Both team have had a disappointing start in their own means, as the Lions were hoping to get back to the playoffs after missing out last season.

Even though the Packers have won more than they’ve lost, they have a lot of things to work on. The defense, minus their shutout of the Buffalo Bills last week, has been inconsistent. They’ve put up good quarters of solid defense in every game, but have had their lapses as well.

The offense might have more troubles than the defense if we are comparing them to their expectations coming into the season. Aaron Rodgers looked a bit off last week as he missed a few open receivers he normally hits. When he did put the ball in the right spots, his teammates weren’t helping him out as the Packers struggled with drops once again.

Even as Rodgers and head coach Mike McCarthy sort through their issues, Green Bay has already turned their attention to the Lions. As they gear up for their third division game of the season, let’s preview five Packers who will be in the spotlight on Sunday.
