Lineup Comparison

Manny Pina/Erik Kratz vs Chris Iannetta

1B Jesus Aguilar vs Ian Desmond

2B Travis Shaw/Jonathan Schoop vs D.J. LeMahieu

3B Mike Moustakas vs Nolan Arenado

SS Orlando Arica vs Trevor Story

LF Ryan Braun vs Matt Holliday/Gerardo Parra

CF Lorenzo Cain vs Charlie Blackmon

RF Christian Yelich vs David Dahl

The Brewers lineup was up and down, but going into September, they stepped it up. LoCain has been a great leadoff guy and Yelich is going to win the MVP. Ryan Braun has also made a huge impact, batting .279 in the last 15 games. Shaw, Moose and Aguilar have been solid. The catchers are a slight downfall in the lineup, but stay consistent. And Orlando Arica has made a huge impact since coming back to the majors.

For the Rockies, it may not look strong from top to bottom, but it is. Charlie Blackmon had a solid regular season as usual. LeMahieu had a slight down year, but is still a player to be careful with. Nolan Arenado has had his usual MVP caliber season. Trevor Story has a lot of pop and has hit for average this season. And with Parra, Dahl, and Desmond, this lineup can be dangerous and put up some runs.
