5. Brewers and Rockies combine to hit at least one home run a game

The Brewers were fourth in the MLB and second in the National league in home runs during the regular season with 218.

The Rockies were eighth in the MLB and third in the National League with 210 home runs in the regular season. While a lot of that has to do with playing in the friendly confines of Coors field, they still bring a lot of power to the table.

If you couldn’t do the math, that’s 428 combined home runs between the two teams. They also have a combined eight hitters with at 20 or more bombs. Nolan Arenado (38), Trevor Story (37), Christian Yelich (36), Jesus Aguilar (35) and Travis Shaw (32) all have at least 30.

The power between the two teams means we will see an uptick in balls hit out of the park. In fact, you can expect to see at least one batter per game leisurely rounding the bases after admiring a long ball.
