Wide Receivers

Davante Adams: Adams has continued to climb the ladder and establish himself as one of the best receivers in the game. He already has 28 receptions for 285 yards and three touchdowns. Last Sunday’s game against the Bills was the first time he didn’t find the end zone. He will continue to be Rodgers’ go-to weapon and has proved he can handle that workload.

Grade: B+

Randall Cobb: Cobb is on the final year of his contract and wanting to prove his worth to the Packers. He began the season on a high note, but came crashing down to earth. He struggled mightily including two drops and a lost fumble against Washington in Week 3. He followed that by missing Week 4 with a hamstring injury. He has a lot of work to do.

Grade: C

Geronimo Allison: Allison is the only other receiver who entered the season with experience playing with Rodgers. And it’s shown. Allison has been great, even despite a couple of drops against the Bills. He’s shown growth and improvement and has demonstrated he can be a legitimate No. 3 option for the Packers.

Grade: B

Marquez Valdes-Scantling: Valdez-Scantling has mostly been a special teams contributor for the Packers throughout the first four games. However, he flashed that speed we’ve heard so much about by simply outrunning a Bills’ corner down the sideline for a nice catch. Depending on how long Cobb’s injury lingers, the rookie could be asked to continue to play a big role in the offense.

Grade: C-

J’Mon MooreMoore has only appeared on the field for the Packers for 11 total snaps this year, so it’s a bit difficult to gauge where he’s at. He’s clearly the most physically gifted athlete out of any of the three rookie receivers, but also the rawest. He has yet to accrue a catch or even a target so his grade remains incomplete.

Grade: Inc.
