Grades

Offense: C- Rodgers and this offense was off all day. Rodgers missed a couple of throws that he typically makes and there were a number of drops again. The timing being off is to be expected when Randall Cobb missed the game due to an injury and Allison left midway as well. Rodgers needs to work on developing his chemistry with the other guys on the team, as they’ll have a role to play at some point this season.

Defense: A+ This is what the fans wanted when they were pushing for Dom Capers to get fired for decades. Okay, maybe it wasn’t that long, but it felt like it. Defensive coordinator Mike Pettine dialed up nice pressure and the secondary did their job as well. It was an all-around great effort for this unit.

Special Teams: C The coverage units were fine and JK Scott did okay on his punts. The grade would be higher, but Mason Crosby missed an extra point. However, he redeemed himself by drilling two 52-yarders and knocking another 36-yard field goal in as well. Crosby continues to be dependable and a weapon for the Packers.
