4. Hornibrook finishes with 10 or more interceptions

Alex Hornibrook’s decision making has been a heartache for Badgers’ fans for two-plus seasons now. In 181 pass attempts his freshman year, Hornibrook through seven interceptions. That number zoomed all the way up to 15 picks in 318 attempts last season. That can’t continue to happen.

So far through four games this year, Hornibrook has tossed two interceptions. That number could certainly be higher, as he’s thrown a few balls that were into double coverage or went right through a defenders hands (they play defense because they can’t catch!).

As the schedule turns to more impressive defenses than the likes of Western Kentucky and New Mexico, he won’t be able to continue to get away with the poor decision making. Therefore, the bold prediction for Hornibrook is that he will finish the season with at least 10 interceptions despite his relatively low pick number so far this season.
