With a playoff spot in grasp, the  Milwaukee Brewers need to turn their attention to the roster.

With less than a week left in the regular season, the Milwaukee Brewers appear to have a firm grasp on a playoff position, be it as a Wild Card or as a potential National League Central champion. They have a nice 3.5 game lead over the Colorado Rockies for the first wild card and have narrowed the gap to just a half game behind the Chicago Cubs. However, with that position comes a lot of questions regarding the roster.

The Brewers are in an enviable position that they have six or seven quality players who could make a postseason roster, even eight if you count the April/May versions of Matt Albers. But for as much as they bring, guys like Domingo Santana, Brandon Woodruff, Taylor Williams, and Jordan Lyles just miss the cut for the playoff roster, at least in a potential Wild Card game.

Now, with the 25 that are on this list, they’re there for a specific reason. And we’ll rank them in order of importance, starting with numbers 25-21.
