1. Nate Stanley

This game could very well come down to a battle of the quarterbacks. Nate Stanley vs. Hornibrook.

Stanely was terrific for the Hawkeyes last season, throwing for 2,432 yards, 26 touchdowns and only six interceptions. Although he only completed 55.8 percent of his passes, he’s already shown improvement in that area in 2018. Through three games, he’s connected on 63.3 percent of his throws for 583 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.

Stanley is very much the type of quarterback who stays in the pocket and looks for his receivers. That means it’s imperative for the Badgers to get pressure on him and make him uncomfortable back there. If they can’t do that, Stanley might have a field day against a young secondary.

This game could very much come down to which quarterback plays better. Although Stanley has a better track record of success, Hornibrook has the better offensive weapons to compliment him. Keep an eye on both of these players as the game progresses.
