1. Wayne Ellington

Wayne Ellington would’ve been a great addition to the Bucks. He brings a swag they need and someone who would fit in nicely alongside their current collection of players.

Ellington may not be as deadly from downtown as Harris is, but he takes a higher number of outside shots while still maintaining a good percentage. Last season, Ellington took 10.2 three-point shots per 36 minutes and knocked down 39.2 percent of them. That would easily be the most outside shots per 36 of anyone in Milwaukee.

Outside of the three-point shooting, Ellington doesn’t bring much to the table, as 579 of his 700 total shots last year were from downtown. Still, his passion and energy are contagious and would be welcomed in Milwaukee. Ellington signed a one-year, $6.2million deal with the Miami Heat. That’s a contract the Bucks could’ve afforded and gave them room to spare.

Even if Milwaukee did miss out on these five players, they clearly targeted a certain type of skill in the offseason and appear to have a plan. That’s something that hasn’t always been able to be said about this front office. Regardless, we’ll get to watch the season play out and see if they made the right decision or not.
