1. Davante Adams

Davante Adams struggled against the Vikings. He got called for a questionable offensive pass inference call that negated a sweet toss and catch, but also dropped a couple of other critical passes. The most notorious one is the potential game-clinching touchdown in the fourth quarter which he wasn’t able to secure as he went to the ground in the end zone.

That should provide Adams with some extra motivation against Washington, as he looks to bounce back. Also, despite Josh Norman taking the field, Washington has given up a lot of yards to opposing teams No. 1 receivers so far this season. T.Y. Hilton (7-83-1) and Larry Fitzgerald (7-76-0) combined for 14 receptions and 159 yards already.

Adams is sort of a mix between the two. He’s not nearly the deep threat Hilton is, nor is he the slot stud Fitzgerald is. Instead, he relies on his precise route-running and violent cuts to get open. He’s also better than either Hilton or Fitzgerald. This should give Norman and the Washington pass defense fits, as they try to stop the Packers’ No. 1 receiving threat.
