4. Return of Aaron Jones

Aaron Jones is potentially the third player the Packers will be getting back this week. Jones returns from a two-game suspension to begin the season which stemmed from a marijuana-involved arrest.

Jones will likely split carries with Jamaal Williams to begin with, but don’t be surprised if he-regains his role as the lead back sooner rather than later. Williams has failed to impress in the Packers’ first two games (31 rushes for 106 yards and zero touchdowns) even considering the stiff competition he faced in the Chicago Bears and the Vikings.

Jones is the much more natural runner and can become a true three-down back. He will help give the Packers’ running game a boost against a stout Washington front-seven. And the better the running game the better for Aaron Rodgers, as he continues to fight through a knee sprain. If Green Bay can rely on Jones and the running game, it will take a lot of stress off Rodgers and give defenses more weapons to worry about.
