4. Packers don’t have quality receiving threats

This may be more of an overreaction heading into the season than it has been after two games. There were lots of concerns about the Packers’ receiving unit following the release of Jordy Nelson. Davante Adams was the only true stud entering the season, but that’s already begun to change.

Randall Cobb, Geronimo Allison and Jimmy Graham have already proven they will be reliable and dangerous receiving threats throughout the course of the season. Cobb had a monster Week 1 with nine receptions for 142 yards and one touchdown. He wasn’t as great against the Vikings, but does have 13 catches for 172 yards and a touchdown after two games.

Allison (11-133-1), Adams (13-152-2) and Graham (8-103-0) have gotten off to good starts as well. Graham’s stat line may not appear as impressive, however, he went off against the Vikings and should’ve added a touchdown to his resume had it not been for a highly questionable holding call on Lane Taylor. This four-man wrecking crew will prove to be alright for the long haul.
