2. Packers offensive line vs Vikings defensive line

Rodgers will have limited mobility this week while he recovers from that MCL sprain. The Packers O-line will have to do a better job than they did during the first half last week against the Bears. David Bakhtiari is a top-5 left tackle in the NFL. His matchup with Everson Griffen will be a good one to watch, but Bakhtiari should win that one. Lane Taylor is quietly a top-10 option at left guard. It’s the right side of the line that has the most question marks.

Bryan Bulaga had an extremely rough first half against All-Pro Khalil Mack. This week he draws Danielle Hunter. Hunter doesn’t possess the same speed skill set moves, but he has better power moves. Bulaga settled in after that first half, but he needs to show that his second-half performance is what should be expected of him. Hunter can get on Rodgers in a hurry if Bulaga doesn’t slow him down.

Justin McCray is the biggest question mark on the offensive line and it isn’t close. Last week, he gave up multiple sacks and holding penalties before the first half was over. This week, he’ll be dealing with Sheldon Richardson and Linval Joseph, who are some of the top graded interior defenders in the NFL. The Packers need to work to establish the run to give Rodgers more time to work, but McCray will have to win his matchup to make that happen.
