Coaching: B

There were a few things that could be changed, but for the most part it was a solid 2018 debut for the entire Packers’ coaching staff.

Mike McCarthy and the offense looked stale and boring to begin the game and that continued throughout the first half. Fortunately, they altered their gameplan with an injured Rodgers and it worked to perfection. The scheme changes were a welcome sight, as McCarthy has failed to make adjustments in the past.

Defensively, Mike Pettine was a breath of fresh air for this defense. He made constant changes throughout the entire game, keeping Trubisky on edge. Even with his players struggling to make plays, Pettine continued to dial up pressures and unqiue looks. It was a good start to Pettine’s time in Green Bay.
