 4. Packers D-line vs Bears O-line

This offseason, the Packers added Muhammad Wilkerson to play alongside the dynamic duo of Kenny Clark and Mike Daniels. If he plays up to his potential, they can be one of the most dominant trios in the NFL. Behind them, Montravius Adams has slowly had one of the best offseasons of all Packers. He and Dean Lowry give the team some depth to stay fresh late in games. Mitch Trubisky is still really young, and the Bears offensive line needs to keep him upright.

Last season, prior to Rodgers’ injury, the Packers had a top-10 run defense in yards per game. Due to frequently playing from behind due to an inept offense, opposing teams would run all game on them. This season, they have the ability to be top-5 in rushing yards per game if everyone stays healthy. Against the Bears and running back Jordan Howard, they have no easy matchup ahead of them. Trubisky is young, and the pressure would cause him trouble, easing the secondary’s load.

The Bears line performed decently last season, with multiple players ranked in the top 15 at their position via Pro Football Focus. New head coach Matt Nagy will want to pass the ball more, but the majority of their linemen are run blockers. With five strong pass rushers across from them, they won’t be able to come out with double teams for everyone. If players are getting beat on a regular basis, it could be a long day for the Bears offense.
