The Green Bay Packers take on the Chicago Bears Sunday night to kick off their 100th season. There are a ton of storylines for fans to keep their eyes on.

The Green Bay Packers are prepared to kick off their 100th season against their longest running rival the Chicago Bears. Due to a recent trend of Packers’ dominance, they have taken the all-time lead in the series at 96-94-2.

Heading into Sunday, there are a ton of storylines to keep an eye on. Aaron Rodgers is fully returning after last season’s broken collarbone. Khalil Mack is making his Bears debut, and a lot of coaching and personnel changes have occurred since last season.

The Packers have Super Bowl aspirations this season, and the Bears are hoping that they are expediting their rebuild with a new head coach, an improved team and a bright future ahead. Two seasons start on Sunday afternoon, and there will be a lot to pay attention to that day. Several rookies are starting in key positions. Long-term stalwarts are out the door with new players left in their place. Each team will have to figure each other out because they’re quite different.

If both teams are healthy, these matchups would be even more interesting. Later in the season, some players will have broken out and taken on new roles. Mack likely won’t play a full game on Sunday, but he will later in the season. He will have the chance to make an impact, but it won’t be the same as he has made the past few years. The game is just a few days away, so let’s figure out those matchups to watch.
