1. Top three in MVP voting

How can a man who averages 28 points and six assists per 36 minutes not be considered a top MVP candidate? You throw in there at least eight mean mugs and Antetokounmpo is a lock to be in the top-three.

In all seriousness, Antetokounmpo could put up the same numbers from last year and, with a little more team success, make a serious run at the award. He’s that good.

The Bucks have made all the right moves over the summer to make sure their team as a whole has improved. Coaching was one of their biggest weaknesses so they went out and got the best head coach available. Budenholzer is known for making the whole greater than the parts and there are some pretty spectacular parts in Milwaukee.

Outside shooting was also a weakness for the Bucks in 2017-18. So the front office added four potential shooters who can stretch the floor. Add in the jumps Eric Bledsoe, Khris Middleton and Antetokounmpo will take from another season playing together and it’s looking good from a team perspective.

If Milwaukee can eclipse the 50-win mark and Antetokounmpo even puts up the numbers he did last year, you’re looking at a top-three MVP candidate in the NBA!
