3. Averages six assists per 36 minutes

Before last season, Antetokounmpo had increased his assists per 36 minutes every single season, topping out at 5.5 in 2016-17. Unfortunately, his number dipped a bit to 4.7 this past year. However, he’s set to get his number back on track and trending upward.

Antetokounmpo has all the skills to become a good passer in the NBA if he already isn’t one. He has good ball-handling abilities, can see over the defense, is selfless and has a good sense of timing for his teammates. All of this should mean more opportunities for Antetokounmpo to create for his teammates in the upcoming season.

Bucks’ general manager Jon Horst made sure he focused on getting outside shooters in the offseason. The likes of Ersan Ilyasova, Brook Lopez, Pat Connaughton and rookie Donte DiVincenzo were brought on to help space the floor for the Bucks’ superstar. This should also mean he has more opportunities to hit open guys on the perimeter and allow them to knock down a three. Thanks, in part, to the improved spacing, Antetokounmpo will be able to average at least six assists per 36 minutes.
