5. Cards are stacked against him

The haters are out in full force to begin the season for Rodgers. His critics have never been louder and the doubts are turning into audible whispers. The good news is he can put all those worries away with a good season.

When Rodgers went down with a broken collarbone last season against the Minnesota Vikings, the Packers’ roster was exposed. The lack of playmakers anywhere on the roster was astonishing, as anyone and everyone not named Davonte Adams failed to make plays. Can Rodgers bring the best out of everyone once again?

Gone is Jordy Nelson, but Jimmy Graham is in his place. Still, Rodgers has never had a weaker receiving core with Randal Cobb and Geronimo Allison filling the depth chart behind Adams. It gets even murkier after them. The cards certainly aren’t stacked in Rodgers’ favor, but it doesn’t mean he can’t get the job done and add another fabulous chapter to his legacy.
