The Green Bay Packers take on the Chicago Bears in Week 1 of the NFL season. Here’s five questions we’ll need answered on opening weekend.

The NFL season is finally here with the Green Bay Packers first regular season game just days away. They take on the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field to kick off the Packers’ centennial season. It doesn’t get any more historic than this rivalry.

The Packers lead the all-time series 96-94-6 with the teams splitting games in the postseason. They first met back on Nov. 27, 1921 which resulted in a 20-0 Bears’ victory. Currently, Green Bay has won the last four games including their most recent contest on Nov. 12, 2017.

Before the season begins, every team in the NFL has hopes and dreams of a playoff appearance and, ultimately, a Super Bowl victory. Most of those dreams come crashing to a quick halt after the season begins, but it’s all unicorns and rainbows right now.

The Packers are one of the favorites in the NFC with Chicago playing the role of a dark horse. This is a game where either team could potentially make a statement to the rest of the league. With that in mind, let’s take a look at five of the biggest questions heading into the Sunday night showdown.
