4. Josh Jackson overtakes Tramon Williams by the end of the season

Josh Jackson started out training camp extremely slow. The good news is he picked up steam and then some as the preseason began and carried it all the way through to the end of August. Jackson racked up one pick-six for sure and another one that was called back from a defensive holding penalty that had no impact on the play.

At 6-feet and 196 pounds, Jackson possesses ideal size for an outside cornerback. Right now, Kevin King and Tramon Williams hold down those positions with fellow rookie Jaire Alexander starting in the slot.

With the improvement Jackson made in his extremely short time in the NFL, nothing is out of the realm of possibilities. If he continues to make strides, he’ll find himself overtaking Williams as the starting outside corner by the end of the season.
