4. New and improved bench

Throughout an 82-game season and the grueling schedule of the playoffs, a team’s bench is going to enter the equation on more than one occasion (that rhymed!). Even with Jabari Parker leading the second unit down the stretch last season, the Bucks weren’t able to consistently rely on their bench to get the job done.

That should change a little bit this season. Milwaukee added Ilyasova to help shore up the reserves. Ilyasova provides steady outside shooting and underrated defense. Milwaukee will also have one of Malcolm Brogdon and Tony Snell join the likes of Sterling Brown, DiVincenzo, Matthew Dellavedova, Pat Connaughton, John Henson and Thon Maker.

Although that unit doesn’t necessarily scare opposing teams, they have a diverse skillset and should be able to hold more than their own against opposing teams.
