Packers vs Chiefs: 5 players fighting for a roster spot in final preseason game

1. Jake Kumerow
I’ve gone back and forth about Jake Kumerow over the last few weeks. He’s had a great preseason, leading the NFL in receiving yards after Week 2. Unfortunately, he got hurt diving into the end zone against the Pittsburgh Steelers and only just returned to practice. That missed time may have hurt.
The Packers depth at receiver also hurts Kumerow. As previously mentioned, Graham is likely to line up at receiver quite a bit. That adds to their depth at the position that already includes locks such as Davante Adams, Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison. Trevor Davis, J’Mon Moore, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown also have legitimate chances.
At least one, if not two of those players won’t make the final roster. Kumerow will need one final great performance to truly secure his spot on the final 53-man roster.
