
2. Robert Tonyan
In all reality, Robert Tonyan has done enough to earn himself a spot on this roster. He’s proven to be a dangerous option in the receiving game, even though he’s still somewhat raw. Unfortunately, the Packers are three-deep at the position.
Three veterans sit atop the depth chart; Jimmy Graham, Marcedes Lewis and Lance Kendricks.
Graham is listed as a tight end, although he’ll likely line up as a receiver more often than not. Lewis will be the more traditional tight end and Kendricks will try to make up for last year. All three have their special talents.
Tonyan has good receiving talent and has flashed it at certain points throughout the preseason. Unfortunately, he hasn’t been consistent enough to overtake Kendricks. Let’s see if one great performance could push him over the top.
