The Green Bay Packers have one exhibition game remaining, as things are getting tense toward the end of camp. There are a handful of players who already have a roster spot locked up, but there are even more who might be in their last days in a green and gold uniform.
For those who are fighting for a roster spot, they still have a couple of opportunities remaining. There are a few practices left and one final exhibition game to impress the Packers’ coaching staff and front office.
Without further ado, let’s check in on five Packers who will be fighting for their roster spot lives against the Kansas City Chiefs.
5. Marwin Evans
Given the depth of the Packers’ cornerbacks, they might only keep five on the roster to begin the season. Part of that is due to the versatility of Jermaine Whitehead who has been playing all over the field. That versatility might save Marwin Evans a roster spot.
Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Kentrell Brice and Josh Jones are locks for the roster. Whitehead is the next one up. After that foursome, however, is a competition between Evans and Raven Greene. It might come down to whoever plays better against the Chiefs earns a spot.
