2. Kyler Fackrell

A lot has been said and written about Kyler Fackrell’s play over the last two years. He was a third round pick in 2016, yet is already nearing his 27th birthday. That doesn’t bode well for his overall arc.

Fackrell has been passed on the depth chart by Reggie Gilbert and is in a battle with Vince Biegel for No. 4 on the depth chart. It’s not crazy to think that whoever loses that battle might be out of a job in Green Bay. The most common formation new defensive coordinator Mike Pettine might use is his nickel package which includes three linemen, two inside backers and one outside linebacker. If that’s the case, the Packers might not have room for five outside linebackers on their roster.

The good news is Fackrell still has about a week of practice and one preseason game remaining to turn things around. However, if he’s unable to do so, he might find himself on a different team come September.
