1. Kyler Fackrell/Vince Biegel

Both Kyler Fackrell and Vince Biegel have underperformed this fall. That might even be the nice way of putting it-awful might be the more accurate word.

Green Bay didn’t address outside linebacker in the offseason, only choosing to use a very late draft pick to select Kendall Donnerson in the seventh round. Donnerson played his college ball at Southeast Missouri State. He’s extremely athletic, but equally as raw. It’s obvious the front office was counting on one of these guys to step up.

So far, they haven’t. The Packers have their starting outside linebackers locked in with Nick Perry and Clay Matthews. Behind them, Reggie Gilbert has emerged and will be the primary backup. But if one of them goes down with an injury, Green Bay is in big trouble.

It’s up to Fackrell or Biegel to separate themselves from the other in order to earn playing time and a roster spot. They both have had small pockets of success in the past which lets the Packers know they can do so again. Now, it’s up to the youngsters to starting playing to their true potential.
