4. Brook Lopez

Lopez was acquired by Milwaukee this July, highlighting the rosters moves they made this offseason. The seven foot big-man spent most of his career in the Brooklyn Nets’ organization, but after a disappointing one year stint with the Los Angeles Lakers, he was acquired by the Bucks.

The Bucks needed to address their lack of strength in the post, and taking Lopez`s player profile and the teams needs into consideration, he should fit in well. He will replace John Henson as the teams starting center, which is certainly an upgrade from both an offensive and defensive standpoint, and help guide this team as a veteran presence.

As far as big-men are concerned, Lopez is excellent shooting from range, and should serve as a great compliment to Giannis and the rest of the offense by stretching the floor and creating second chance possessions. There are concerns about his rebounding effort, but if he buys into the system and becomes a cornerstone of this defense, there will be nothing to worry about.

He is one of the biggest variables on this entire roster, but has the opportunity to make a real difference. Lopez becoming an organic part of this offense and remaining a force in the paint is crucial to this teams chances of becoming a legitimate top three team in the Eastern Conference.
