2. One of the Top Three Safeties Records an Interception

Much like  Moore in a previous point, the safety position has had it’s fair share of struggles in camp, especially when it comes to tackling and making big plays.

It’s past time for the big three of Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Kentrell Brice, and Josh Jones to make that big splash play that they’re capable of. In Mike Pettine’s scheme, all three will be placed in position to succeed throughout the regular season, so be careful to put too much stock in the safeties during preseason as they are basically playing a basic “over” scheme. Focus on what their movements, how natural is their reaction time, or their ability to come up and hit. Then hopefully they finish the play, unlike Pittsburgh.

With the prediction for the game, this is the week that the safeties make that big play. Whether it’s Clinton-Dix, Brice, or Jones, one of them will make an interception in the first quarter, picking off the Raiders and setting up the offense with as good of field position as possible. It might even tie into the final bold prediction for the game.
