4. J’Mon Moore Leads All Receivers in Catches and Yards

Make no mistake, it’s been a nightmare couple of weeks for J’Mon Moore. The fourth round rookie was drawing praise throughout minicamp and the first couple of weeks of training camp, even getting early reps with the starters. But ever since the games started, he has forgotten how to catch the ball. Dropping numerous beautiful throws, mostly to the detriment of Tim Boyle’s stat line, has had many questioning Moore’s roster spot. It’s no stretch to say that more than anyone, he needs a big game against Oakland.

That’s where the bold prediction comes in. Moore has shown too much talent in Camp and during games to keep up this slump. Once he makes that first catch, he’ll ride the wave toward a big game, leading all receivers in yards and receptions. He’s shown the ability to get open and run well-developed routes, now he just needs to finish the play. Once he can make that first one, he’ll be off and running to a big game.
