With Preseason halfway over, the Green Bay Packers take a trip out to Oakland to face an old friend. Here’s what Packers’ fans can expect from the game on Friday.

It’s Week three of the NFL Preseason and the while the Green Bay Packers have started their preparation for Week one of the Regular Season, business remains in Oakland as they take on the Raiders.

The occasion marks a couple of Packer reunions as well, with Jordy Nelson and Jared Cook now wearing the silver and black. Whether either of them plays is a different story, but seeing both those guys, especially Nelson, in a Raiders uniform will be a sight for sore eyes.

With the news that Aaron Rodgers and most of the starters are likely to be held out of the game, partly due to issues with the turf in Oakland, it’ll let the coaching staff get another great look at the depth of the 2018 Packers and to see who can separate themselves from the pack and solidify a roster spot.

Even beyond just a roster spot, players are trying to silence their doubters and put on a good performance. To see who will succeed and struggle, here are five bold predictions for the Packers in Week Three.
