2. CB Josh Jackson

Grade- B+

Jackson was a little grabby out the gate, but now his cover skills are smoothing out quite nicely. Last Thursday, he jumped an out-route thrown by Pittsburgh’s Joshua Dobbs that he promptly returned 22-yards for a touchdown.

Coaches are impressed with his studious habits and his words after the game reflected that:

“Just looking at film, kind of knew it was coming,” Jackson said. “Just tried to play it slow and be sure and precise on my break.”

It is still somewhat of a head-scratcher why Jackson fell to the 45th overall pick in April’s draft. Some scouts questioned his speed but it has yet to be a concern for the Packers. Jackson is reliable in coverage and adds depth to Green Bay’s secondary. He should have no problem earning reps during the regular season.
