2. Time to talk about the Khalil Mack Trade?

By now, I’m sure you’ve heard of all the Khalil Mack to Green Bay trade rumors. The Packers have two first round picks in the upcoming draft (if they even need both of them to get a deal done). Some of the Las Vegas betting sites also have Green Bay as the favorite to land Mack by October.

Green Bay will have plenty of time in Oakland to work out a deal in person with the Raiders’ front office. There are also lots of connections and a long history between Packers’ general manager Brian Gutekunst and McKenzie. They will certainly have ample opportunities to work out a deal.

Trading for Mack is the type of franchise-altering move similar to acquiring Reggie White and Charles Woodson. And both of those guys were leaders to a great defense and, ultimately, a Super Bowl ring. Mack is a lot younger than when the Packers acquired each of those guys, but he has the same potential impact. Green Bay must do everything in their power to land the stud outside linebacker.
