3. Will Aaron Rodgers play?
Aaron Rodgers has played a grand total of one series so far in the preseason, leading his team to a touchdown. Typically, the third game is reserved for a longer stint for the starters, but it might be more complicating this year.
Rodgers is coming off a collarbone injury that basically cost him the season. He’s also getting older in age and Green Bay stands no chance at reaching their goals with Rodgers injured on the sideline. Will they be more careful with him?
Nobody knows the answer yet and it’s likely Rodgers will want to play. He’s a competitor. However, the coaching staff must protect him from himself and make the best decision for the longevity of Rodgers and the team. Trust them to do so.
