4. Jake Kumerow’s status?

Jake Kumerow has been an absolute stud for the Packers’ this preseason. After two games, he leads the NFL in receiving yards with 190. That’s something else.

Unfortunately, he suffered an injury diving into the end zone on his 82-yard catch and run touchdown against the Steelers last Thursday. Although he avoided major injury, he still suffered a sprained SC joint. Hopefully, he’s already done enough to secure a spot on the 53-man roster.

It remains unclear what Kumerow’s status for the game will be. Typically, someone can play through a shoulder injury like this, but it’s very painful. Alshon Jeffery also tried to play through a similar injury late last year and is in danger of missing the beginning of this season because of it. We will certainly glean more information as the game gets closer, so let’s wait and see.
