Green Bay Packers: Ranking 2018 games from least to most difficult
Week 1 at Green Bay
History will continue to repeat itself on the first Sunday night football game of the season when the Bears visit Lambeau Field in week one.
Since the Packers defeated the Bears in the 2010 NFC Championship game, the Packers are 12-2 against their rival Bears. The Packers are also 3-1 in their last four home games when facing Chicago.
Signs have pointed towards Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky improving this season. However, the Packers defeated the Bears last season with Trubisky at the helm and without Rodgers playing.
As for Rodgers, he is 15-4 against the Bears and owns a 107.2 QBR against them. Now, the Bears do have a pretty solid defense with hard-hitting guys inside of the box and a strong secondary. However, this is an explosive Packers offense with big-bodied targets all over the field for Rodgers.
And while the Packers defense isn’t necessarily one of the best, they matchup well against the Bears. It’ll be interesting to see how the young secondary of the Packers fares with Trubisky’s new weapons in Allen Robinson and Anthony Miller.
Seeing how it is week one, I see the Packers coming out guns blazing on offense while being ultra aggressive on defense. I don’t see the Packers losing this game and I don’t see them winning this game by less than 10.

Week 3 at Washington
Yes, Alex Smith is the Redskins quarterback now. Yes, he led the league in passer rating last season.
But, and this is a big but, will his receivers be able to hold their own for the former number one overall pick? To make matters worse, the Redskins just lost their starting running back, Derrius Guice, for the season.
The new and expected aggressive style of Mike Pettine’s defense should be able to limit this less than impressive offense of the Redskins. They don’t have the weapons that can burn the Packers defense on any given play.
Just when you thought their offense took a hit, the Redskins defense says hello.
They owned the worst run defense in the league last season and lost a pair of their best secondary players, leaving Josh Norman hanging.
Look for a balanced attack in this game by the Packers offense. This will force the ‘Skins to play honest and open the secondary up for some big plays by Rodgers.
Seeing how this game is early in week three, the Redskins will still be figuring out their offense without their starting back and seeing how Smith performs with his new team when the games count. The Packers should be able to take advantage of the Redskins issues and cruise to victory.
