Green Bay Packers: 3 takeaways from their 51-34 win over Pittsburgh Steelers

3. Tramon Williams still has some spring in his legs

It looked a lot like Williams’ interception vs Matt Ryan during the 2011 playoffs, however, this time it was a little less meaningful.

On the very first play of the game Williams’ jumped a hitch route and returned it 25 yards for a touchdown. Third-round pick Mason Rudolph was the starter for Pittsburgh looking for his receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey, but obviously, Williams had other ideas.

The play just further echoes what players and coaches have said about the 35-year-old during training camp and the high level of play he still brings to the table. Despite being the oldest player in the secondary by a wide margin, it’s hard to argue Williams still isn’t the best player of the bunch.
