The Green Bay Packers take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in their week two preseason action. They have some interesting matchups for fans to keep an eye on.

The Green Bay Packers kicked off their preseason last week against the Tennessee Titans. While last week featured a lineup comprised mostly of backups, this week is expected to be much different. Aaron Rodgers, who rarely plays preseason snaps outside of Week 3, is expected to start Thursday night. Along with Rodgers, players such as new tight end Jimmy Graham and other veterans should make an appearance.

Packer fans should be interested to see how Rodgers will look after a long break off. Outside of some mostly meaningless snaps against the Carolina Panthers, Rodgers hasn’t played since last October. Graham has yet to play live snaps with the Packers and Rodgers hasn’t had a tight end weapon like Graham in his career. After the letdown of Martellus Bennett last season, fans will be holding their breath this year.

The Steelers are nearing the end of their run with Ben Roethlisberger. It’s also quite possibly Le’Veon Bell‘s final season in the Steel City. While the Steelers may not play all of their starters, Packer fans will be interested to watch how the rookie wide receivers perform with Rodgers vs the backup quarterbacks. This team has big potential this year and this game is just part of the story.
