4. Alex Hornibrook throws for 30 touchdowns

Hornibrook has been the model of inconsistency during his first two seasons in Madison. The junior quarterback has flashed great potential here and there (including in the Orange Bowl against the Miami Hurricanes), but has also thrown maddening interceptions (15 last season).

However, Hornibrook will use his great performance against Miami (23-34, 258 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions) to have a tremendous junior season.

As previously mentioned, he has all the receiving weapons he could need. He also threw for 25 touchdowns last year, second-most in school history (Russel Wilson is No. 1 with 33). Hornibrook will further cement himself in the playbook this season, as he tops last year’s mark and throws for 30 touchdowns.

Fueled by three easy games to start the season, Hornibrook will get off to a tremendous start and capitalize on all of the attention Jonathan Taylor garners from defenses. Look for Hornibrook to show off his improved arm strength and tear defenses apart.
