The Wisconsin football team is set to have a huge season in 2018. Let’s make some crazy predictions for what’s about to go down in this historic campaign.

The Wisconsin football team is coming off a historic season under Paul Chryst. The Badgers went 13-1 and recorded the most wins in team history. It will be almost impossible to follow up on that great run, but Wisconsin certainly has the tools to do so.

Last year was the fourth straight season Wisconsin racked up double-digit wins. They have done so in all three years of Chryst’s tenure and the head coach has a remarkable 34-7 record as the lead man and is 3-0 in Bowl games.

This on the field success has boded well for the recruiting trail where Wisconsin appears to be getting more national love. They are still getting their types of players in big, burly offensive linemen and stud running backs. However, they are now getting higher ranked players at the skill positions and other positions on the field. Four-star quarterback Graham Mertz is perhaps the biggest indicator of Wisconsin’s rising success.

Even with last year’s 13-1 record, the team hopes it was just a starting point for the upcoming season. Let’s get a little funky and make five bold predictions about the Badgers’ 2018 season.
