What would happen if the Milwaukee Bucks blew up their entire team? These five players would be at the top of their asset list.

With the dead of the NBA offseason in full swing, it’s time to take some different angles while discussing the Milwaukee Bucks. That’s why we’re going to look at the Bucks five best trade assets heading into the 2018-19 season.

This list doesn’t mean Milwaukee will trade or should trade any of these players. However, it’s a ranking of the five players that would bring back the most valuable assets if the Bucks did decide to move them for one reason or another.

The player’s value is dictated by a number of different factors. The amount of money and the years left on a player’s contract is one. The potential or ceiling the player has is another. And how the league views them in this ever-evolving game is the final factor. When you add it all up, you get a player’s perceived trade value from other team’s perspective.

As I created this list, I discovered Milwaukee is very top-heavy with prospects. The top two might be obvious, but after that, it gets quite difficult. It certainly didn’t turn out to be a list ranking the Bucks’ five best players like one might think. It was much more complex than that. Without further ado, let’s dive into the Bucks’ five best trade assets as it stands right now.
